This Privacy Policy explains what information the ZeyVPN mobile app and website ("ZeyVPN", "we", "us") collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Please read it together with our Terms of Service.

1. Our privacy principle

ZeyVPN is a privacy tool. We designed the service to collect as little personal data as reasonably possible. We do not sell your personal data.

2. What we do NOT collect

  • We do not log the websites or apps you visit while connected.
  • We do not record your DNS queries or the content of your network traffic.
  • We do not store your browsing history.
  • We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

No VPN can make you completely anonymous or untraceable, and we do not claim that. A VPN encrypts traffic between your device and our servers and hides your IP address from the sites you visit; it does not remove all forms of tracking (for example, accounts you log into, or cookies you accept).

3. Information we do process

a. Diagnostics and app analytics

We may collect aggregated, non-identifying diagnostics such as app version, device model, operating-system version, crash events, and whether a connection attempt succeeded or failed. This helps us fix bugs and improve reliability.

b. Advertising (free plan)

The free plan is supported by ads served through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process certain data (such as advertising identifiers) to show and measure ads, subject to Google's policies. You can review or reset your advertising ID in your device settings. See Google's policy at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

c. Crash reporting

We may use crash-reporting tools (such as Firebase Crashlytics) to receive automatic crash reports containing technical information about the crash and your device. This helps us diagnose stability issues.

d. Account and payment data (premium)

If you purchase a premium plan, the payment is processed by the app store or a payment provider (for example Google Play Billing). We receive a purchase token and subscription status needed to grant premium access; we do not receive or store your full card number. If you create an account, we store the email address and authentication data required to operate that account.

e. Support requests

When you contact support through the website form or by email, we receive the information you provide (such as your name, email, and message) so we can respond. We keep support correspondence for a reasonable period.

4. VPN permission

To create the encrypted tunnel, the app uses the Android system VPN permission (BIND_VPN_SERVICE). This permission is required by Android for any VPN app and is used only to establish and maintain your secure connection. It is not used to inspect the content of your traffic.

5. How we use information

  • To provide, maintain, and secure the VPN service.
  • To diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve performance and reliability.
  • To display ads on the free plan and to provide premium features to subscribers.
  • To respond to your support requests.
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations.

6. Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the app (for example, advertising, analytics, crash reporting, hosting, and payment processing), and only as needed for those services. We may disclose information if required by valid legal process or to protect our rights and users' safety.

7. Data retention

We retain operational and account data only for as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

8. Your choices and rights

  • You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings.
  • You can upgrade to Premium to remove ads.
  • You can request access to or deletion of your account data (see below).

9. Deleting your account and data

You can request deletion of your account and associated data from within the app settings or by emailing support@zeyvpn.com. We will process the request in line with applicable law.

10. Children

ZeyVPN is not directed to children under the age required by your local law (for example, under 13 in the United States) and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
